Exploring research resources

As research projects get underway, I have complied a series of research links for students to access specially curated databases and websites to support student learning and exploration. Research Resources One tool that is new to students is NoodleTools, a source citation and note-taking application. NPS middle school library teachers have created screencasts to walk students through the basics such as creating an account, citing information from databases, books and web resources.

New to the library: Sign In

Students are now expected to sign in every time they visit the library. The main reason we use sign in is for safety, so students are always accounted for when they visit the library. With that said, there are many benefits for Ms. Stehle when she analyzes the data from the sign in. For example, as you'll see in the sign in below, students select the time they visit, as well as what resources they are using during their time in the library.
